What is the last date I can submit feedback to BerryDunn?

The University community now has two more weeks to provide feedback to BerryDunn following the One IT proposal last month. The new deadline is end-of-business on May 24. The final report will be delivered to the Chancellor in June 2019.

BerryDunn delivered their revised report recommending a One IT Organization to UNC Charlotte in a Town Hall on Wednesday, April 17. The meeting kicked off the final phase of the University IT Assessment before Chancellor Dubois is expected to make his final decision in Fall 2019. BerryDunn is now well into the second phase of their work to determine how recommendations identified in Phase I will impact each unit, each distributed IT staff member and the university's IT organization. As part of this effort they asked each distributed IT staff member to compete a survey to better understand time and effort allocation, interests and skills.

Our BerryDunn team was on campus the week of December 3rd to meet with academic deans and administrative leaders across the University. While on campus we also presented to the monthly Local IT Admin meeting, which enabled us to provide a heads-up about upcoming activities and discuss questions people had about the effort. On Monday 12/3/18, a survey was sent out by BerryDunn to all distributed IT staff. Each distributed IT staff member was asked to complete the survey so that BerryDunn can better understand staff time allocation, interests, and skills. The surveys are due by December 14th; survey responses will only be viewed by BerryDunn consultants.
