Did you know ITS employs approximately 25 students at our IT Service Desk? These students come from all colleges and majors and are responsible for answering the phones, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, logging service requests and tickets and staffing the Walk Up Desk in Atkins 140C. They log over 40,000 tickets annually and provide extended support at night and on the weekend.
Last week, we welcomed our latest cohort of 17 students. Our new student staff will be training for the next month or so and then will start answering your phone calls and questions. We are excited to welcome this staff to our team!
