BerryDunn is now well into the second phase of their work to determine how recommendations identified in Phase I will impact each unit, each distributed IT staff member and the university's IT organization. As part of this effort they asked each distributed IT staff member to compete a survey to better understand time and effort allocation, interests and skills.
The BerryDunn team is now in the midst of in-person meetings with each distributed IT staff member. To date they have met with over 100 IT staff members and will be on campus until February 1. The purpose of these meetings is to understand specifics about current roles and responsibilities, build upon the information collected in individual survey responses, answer questions about the process and listen to perspectives to help improve service delivery.
