We strive to set new standards of IT service and introduce new IT systems in support of faculty, staff, students and alumni of UNC Charlotte. ITS supports the university's goals in promoting the use of IT systems, providing access to information and online services, offering IT support, and evaluating and recommending new technologies.
Description: ITS Network Services will be performing network device software updates beginning at 7 pm Friday, April 18. During the update, users should expect one or two brief disconnections of all active data communications. All such communications will likely require a restart of involved client applications for connection reestablishment. Additionally, users in the following campus locations should expect their phones to reboot: Fretwell, Friday, Smith, Cameron, Burson, and King.
We expect to complete all maintenance activities by 9 pm on Friday.
