- Activate your NinerNET account with Password Manager.
- After you activate your NinerNET account, you can log into My UNCC and get access to University email, course information, grades, registration, financial accounts and more.
- Login with your NinerNET account to campus computers in campus computer labs and you'll get access to software applications, Internet and personal file storage in your Google Drive.
- Your NinerNET account remains in effect for as long as your are enrolled in classes. If you do not register for classes for two consecutive terms (not counting summer), your NinerNET account is deactivated after the add/drop period fo the second term and access to My UNCC, email and the University network is removed.
Access to your academic and student account history is also available through direct access to Banner Self Service.
The Center for Teaching and Learning provides e-learning tools like Moodle and Saba Meeting. Online training with SkillPort makes it easy to learn how to use software applications like MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite. You can access thousands of online courses, videos, books, and other resources online by logging into SkillPort.

Do I Need a Computer?
UNC Charlotte students are not required to own a computer (except those in the School of Architecture and the College of Engineering), however, many students find it helpful and convenient to do so. The IT Service Desk also provides additional computer guidelines including online computer store links for student purchases and information about purchasing discount software. The NinerTech Store in the Student Union can also assist with computer and accessory purchases.
