Service Description: ITS provides wired and wireless Internet connections, as well as off-campus access. Connecting to the campus network gives clients access to network resources, such as file servers and printers, as well as shared software resources. Faculty, staff, and students have access to UNC Charlottes network via the networked PCs in offices and computer labs as well as through campus wireless connections. Faculty and staff may need to have VPN installed to access certain systems and applications remotely.

Cost: Funding for this service is managed by ITS.
Availability: This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and scheduled outages. Outages are posted in ITS Alerts.
