Proofpoint Protection Service is an email security/spam filtering service that filters inappropriate and undesirable email messages and quarantines those that meet predetermined criteria that identify them as undesirable. The End User Digest compiles a list of quarantined messages sent to your email account and notifies you via an email message. You can review the list and release or safelist any message you choose for delivery.
Funding for this service is managed by ITS.
This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and scheduled outages. Outages are posted in ITS System Status.
