NinerNET

Service Description:     NinerNET accounts are created when a client establishes a relationship with the university (admitted student, hired employee, guest, vendor, etc.). The NinerNET account is used to log into centrally managed computers and provides access to 49er Express, email, and the university network as well as other applications.

Mission Critical:    No

Cost:     Funding for this service is managed by ITS.

Availability:    This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and scheduled outages. Outages are posted in ITS Alerts.

Getting Started:    Automatically created upon establishment of a relationship with the university. Faculty/Staff accounts are triggered by Human Resources. Student accounts are triggered by the Admissions Offices. First time users are required to activate the NinerNET account.
