Service Description: Identity Management (IdM) is based on a single campus-wide directory and is responsible for managing the creation and termination of NinerNET accounts based upon the status of the individuals relationship with the university. IdM can be used by any application to verify the user's identity (authentication) and also to ensure that the user has permission to access that application (authorization).

Cost: Funding for this service is managed by ITS.
Availability: This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and scheduled outages. Outages are posted in ITS Alerts.
Getting Started: Automatically created upon establishment of a relationship with the university; Faculty/Staff accounts are triggered by Human Resources; Student accounts are triggered by the Admissions Offices.NinerNET Account for Faculty Staff
