Service Description: Automated backup and recovery software supports disk and tape storage. It additionally supports backup and restoration of virtual servers, including protection for the whole VM environment.

Cost: Funding for this service is managed by ITS.
Availability: This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and scheduled outages. Outages are posted in ITS Alerts.
Getting Started: When new applications or services are brought on-line, the service owner must contact ITS Server & Storage Services to coordinate initiation of a service backup schedule.
