Automated backup and recovery software supports disk and tape storage. It additionally supports backup and restoration of virtual servers, including protection for the whole VM environment.
Funding for this service is managed by ITS.
This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and scheduled outages. Outages are posted in ITS System Status.
When new applications or services are brought on-line, the service owner must contact ITS Server & Storage Services to coordinate initiation of a service backup schedule.
