Service Description: BigFix, the application delivery system used at UNC Charlotte, enables delivery of a wide variety of services to networked devices including desktops, laptops, and servers. These services include asset inventory, asset discovery, security vulnerability detection and remediation, software distribution, IT compliance reporting, patch management, software license management and security policy enforcement.

Cost: Funding for this service is managed by ITS.
Availability: This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and scheduled outages. Outages are posted in ITS Alerts.
Getting Started: Local IT Administrators work with ITS to establish access to the BigFix tool.
