Faculty and staff access to Dropbox for Education has arrived, earlier than the expected Feb. 15 date! Noted in last week’s campus announcement, Dropbox offers you free, secure, unlimited file storage with access anywhere, anytime.

The Exchange server that housed UNC Charlotte's old Outlook Email and Calendar system will retire tomorrow, Dec. 22, at 9:00 a.m.

If you use Outlook IMAP client to access your current Gmail account, it will still work. However, you may have connection errors if the old UNC Charlotte Exchange account is still showing in your desktop or mobile settings. To remove it, please see these two FAQs: Desktop...

Dear Colleagues,

Access to old Outlook email and calendars will officially end December 22 at 9:00 a.m. when the Exchange server (which stores these emails) is shut down. Since intermittent problems with the system continue, we strongly encourage everyone to only use their University Gmail account.

Also, mail.uncc.edu will automatically redirect to gmail.uncc.edu and the Outlook Web App (OWA) in email.uncc.edu. Please note:

49er Express will now fully retire Thursday, November 12 at 5:30am, in lieu of November 16, as some functionalities are ending sooner than anticipated. Of note, newly enrolled students now need to use My UNC Charlotte (my.uncc.edu) to access their student information, instead of 49er Express. The corresponding image shows a message to new students has been added to the 49er Express landing page.
