Adobe Creative Cloud, a powerful software package with popular apps such as Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Photoshop and Animate, is now available to all faculty and staff. Creative Cloud’s predecessor, CS6, had been the University’s current offering; however, Adobe removed it from educational buying programs last year.

Starting Friday September 9, “Two-step verification” will be required to update and/or view certain personal information in Banner. It verifies your identity beyond a password by sending a code to either your cell phone or personal non UNC Charlotte email address.

On Friday, Aug. 26, Microsoft product advisor John Cochrane, who has led sessions around the world from Atlanta to Australia, will lead the workshops. Cochrane (pictured below) will cover navigation, using apps, surfing the web, working with preferences, and using unique features designed for education.

No matter where you are, hold meetings with one person or to up to 1,000! WebEx allows you to hold an online consultation with a student, discuss an idea with several off-campus colleagues, or present a paper to a few hundred attendees...there are lots of possibilities.
